Lightbox Expansion Fund (the “Company”) was incorporated in Mauritius under the Mauritius Companies Act 2001 as a private company on 16 August 2016 with limited liability by shares and limited life. The Company holds a Category 1 Global Business Licence issued by the Financial Services Commission (“FSC”) and is authorized to operate as a Closed-End Fund classifying as a “professional collective investment scheme” (an authorisation issued under Section 97 of the Securities Act 2005), as per its Global Business licence issued by the FSC.

The Company’s investment objective is to invest directly or indirectly in unlisted Indian securities engaged in the information technology and consumer technology space. The Company invest in unlisted early stage technology businesses focused on the Indian and global markets and focus on the long term investment philosophy in order to maximize investment returns for its investors.  The Company is managed by its Board of Directors and Lightbox Management Limited acts as Investment Manager for the Company.
